Sponsorships

PCMS is a flexible, creative organization that is highly responsive to our sponsors, audiences, and community. A founding Kimmel Center Resident Company, we are known for artistic excellence, accessibility, high-quality service, sound management, and balanced budgets.

Sponsorship is an outstanding value: for all tax-deductible donations, you receive broad exposure, free tickets, and association with a highly-regarded organization that enriches the cultural life and prestige of this city.

Sponsorship options include the following:

Endowed Named Funds

Only investment income from your generous gift is spent each year in support of the artists' fees for the series or concerts of your choice. The principal is never spent, and the fund is named for you, or in honor or memory of a loved one, in perpetuity. Donors are invited to select named concert(s) each season.

Funding Your Sponsorship

Each PCMS concert typically requires a subsidy of $7,500 or more. All gifts are tax-deductible, and PCMS acknowledges its sponsors each year in its printed program and on its website.

Since investment income only is used for permanent endowments (usually a 5% draw), gifts of $150,000 or more—which can be donated in stages over 3-5 years—provide the income necessary for an ongoing, annual concert sponsorship.

Concert series endowments generally range between $500,000 and $2 million. All investment income over the amount of the annual draw is reinvested into the Fund to build it for the future.

Renewable designated funds can be established with gifts of $30,000 or more. PCMS will use a portion of the principal, plus investment income, over several years until the fund is expended—or until it is renewed.

Single concert sponsorships are available for contributions of $7,500, and individual education program sponsorships for $1,500.
